This reminds me of FTL mechanics a bit. Each door was remotely operable, and enemies would have to take a moment to break it open. This created situations in which you could trap enemies in a crossfire, or opening an airlock, keep enemies in regions that had lost atmosphere or were on fire, etc.

Managed to get a perfect volley out of the machine gun, and convinced myself that it was worth losing a few shots to count them, just once. 15 hits in a perfect volley, 30 shots. Updated the post, also with damage totals for perfect volleys.

In-game scientists are kind of masochists.. they heal teammates even if they themselfs stands in fire.
