This is correct.

Food is going to be addressed in the next build (mid Jan) along with Energy, Stress and Social. It's very unintuitive and basically broken at the moment.

UPDATE: 1. We have sorted out who did and did not get an invite. The problem was the speed at which we uploaded the 7000+ names to SendOwl. I think RoboCaptain's longer comment hits the nail perfectly, it references my earlier post but in more detail. I still think that a luck generator needs to be added with more experienced crew increases the chance of a direct hit or more damage (Referenced by somebody else I believe) Maybe you have...
