0 damage dealt to invaders

Still not able to damage invaders on Mars mission. When they're shot the icon pops up as '-0' for damage dealt

Playing on iPad 2
iOS 7.0.3

A patch has been sent to fix this and a few other problems. No need to keep posting new topics =]

Running star command v1.1.3, releases on nov 5th, I'm still receiving the 0 damage invaders, namely the Russian zombies.

That's about 3 waves of them lol.

as a side note, even when i fully staff all the rooms, i have 99% instead of 100%... :\ ***** that 1%.

It's definitely the missing 1% that's causing the zombies to overtake you!
* that's actually a design decision made to limit it to two digits ;)

We haven't been able to reproduce this ... both from old saved games, and new ones ... yet. Did you start a brand new game after the latest update when this still occured? I'll definitely investigate and debug the calculation for damage amounts. Is it running a bit slow? May be a miscalculation that's producing damage amounts < 1.0 and for some reason is getting truncated. Anyway, I'm just thinking aloud.

Hope we can get you a fix soon.

I am having the same issue with the iOS version on my iPhone and iPad.

I did create a new game after updating to the latest version and it exhibited the same behavior.

This required me to load my game on the Uranus mission as I was unable to damage the invaders on the ship.

Game does not seem to be running slowly.

Brand new game saved to the cloud.

iOS 7.0.3 on an AT&T iPhone 5. (Model A1428)
Star Command v1.1.3 upgraded through all versions from the original release.

I had upgraded from the 1.0 version which had two save games which I was not loading data from. I had selected the cloud option for saving the new game, the old two games were never loaded, and I was experiencing this bug.

I just erased the game from my iPhone and downloaded the 1.1.3 version from the AppStore as a fresh install. All my save games are gone including the game I thought was saved to the cloud. I'll start A new game at this point as I have nothing to work from, and I'll see if this still happens.

If you need anything else, I'll monitor this thread.

Brand new install still has the crew doing 0 damage to the invader Zombies.

I would like to amend my previous post. After running through the main story and changing ships, now I am getting proper damage calculations and am able to participate in in-ship combat.

I guess the only other thing I can think to mention is this is on beginner difficulty.


Additionally, as to slow down, I haven't noticed anything since I reloaded the game from the AppStore. Prior to that, the crew hire interface had seemed slow and at times non-responsive.

Thanks, yep that's actually one variable we hadn't been testing during the last few patches 1.1.1-1.1.3 (only on Normal and BlackHole). There was a subtle drop from 0.2 damage base multiplier calculations to 0.0 for Beginner level due to fixing the issues with black hole being too difficult.
