[SPOILERS] The Hitchhiker's Guide to Diplomatic Solutions

Use this simple guide as a comprehensive overview of the choices you make in Star Command, and the different outcomes of each choice. The game is simple, so the guide is kept simple as well. If I've missed anything, don't hesitate to enlighten me about it and I'll update post-haste, credit will be given where credit is due.

Mission 01: Mercury - Antorian Scout

"Antorians are known to be quite hostile. We should proceed with caution."

Option 1: "Hail them, let's try to negotiate."
  • Option 1.1: "Silly antorian, surely you are aware of our advanced human weaponry?"
    Outcome: Enemy weapons charges SLOWER.

    Option 1.2: "Warrior?! You attacked a defenseless mining vessel! You are no warrior."
    Outcome: Enemy weapons charges FASTER.

    Option 1.3: "Wow, now i understand why ant-queens eat their young. You are U-G-L-Y, ugly!"
    Outcome: Enemy weapons charges FASTER.
Option 2: "Open fire!"
Outcome: The enemy ship will have it's shields down when the battle starts.

Mission 03: Venus - Antorian Dreadnought

"Commander Warrior Kreebu offer you big trade for green girl. We offer four tokens if you trades her!
We vow not crush the green weakling ship or your tiny baboon ship."


Option 1: "Wait, who is this 'strong monkey man'?"
  • Option 1.1: "It's a deal, we will give you the princess for tokens - but no tricks!"
    Outcome: Rewarded 4 tokens. Additional mission unlocked, the Moon. Battle with Midorian Battleship.

    Option 1.2: "You're not getting the green girl Kreebu! Eat our lasers!"
    Outcome: The option to keep princess Saark (4 TAC, 11 SCI, 4 ENG) as a member of the crew.
Option 2: "You're offering tokens for only her? Hmmmm, we do like tokens..."
  • Option 2.1: "Deal! We give you the princess, you give us the tokens."
    Outcome: Rewarded 4 tokens. Additional mission unlocked, the Moon. Battle with Midorian Battleship.

    Option 2.2: "We reject your offer Kreebu. We will not hand her over to the likes of you!"
    Outcome: The option to keep princess Saark (4 TAC, 11 SCI, 4 ENG) as a member of the crew.
Option 3: "Not today Kreebu - The midorian princess stays with us."
Outcome: The option to keep princess Saark (4 TAC, 11 SCI, 4 ENG) as a member of the crew.

Mission 05: Pip - Trilaxian Axion

"Would you be willing to teleport us to your ship to conduct a trade?"

Option 1: "We also have a conduct - no unknown aliens on our ship. Sorry."
Outcome: Normal story progress.

Option 2: "Come on over, let's see what you have to offer."
Outcome: A bomb will be teleported to your ship, causing substantial damage to your ship and any crew nearby.

Mission 07: Naut - Grol 01011001

"Tell us human, what do you seek? Power, Peace, or Riches?"

Option 1: "We seek power."
Outcome: You must defeat Grol 01011001. Rewarded 1 red token and the Trilax, Lothaaar (20 TAC, 3 SCI, 2 ENG).

Option 2: "We seek powerful allies to help us."
Outcome: You must survive for 4 minutes. Rewarded 1 blue token.

Option 3: "We seek tokens to make our ship stronger."
Outcome: You must defend your ship from 4 Grol invaders for 4 minutes. Rewarded 4 tokens (2 red, 1 blue, 1 yellow)

Mission 11: Uranus - Antorian Dreadnought

"No response, sir. We are detecting heavy damage to the vessel, sir...
What should we do, Captain?"


Option 1: "Teleport any survivors over immediately, they can help us fight."
Outcome: Evil Star Command traitors, with bad taste for clothing, will be teleported to your ship.

Option 2: "Take care of the antorians first. We can help them after."
Outcome: Normal story progression.

Option 3: "I have a bad feeling about this ... blow that human vessel up!"
Outcome: Normal story progression.

Mission XX: Phobos Shipyards

"After you choose a ship we will transfer your crew over and lightwave jump you to Earth.
Would you like to pick out your new ship? Or continue travelling around for now."


Option 1: "I'd like to pick out a new ship."
Outcome: Start a New Game+ with 15 tokens (5 of each color) and all your hired crew (not crew acquired story-wise).

Option 2: "I'd like to keep exploring yellow missions, and return later."
Outcome: Let's you know you can go get in battles by chance and randomly at any [yellow] location.

I love the story in this game so far even as short as it is. I do wish it was longer and I think having a couple of extra missions in the game would be cool.

Why don't you just let me put your brain in a glass bowl i mean its not like the end of the world!
(Only one reported case of fish in a Cortex's glass bowl it touched the brain dead.)

could you imagine if the story was as long as and as detailed as say a game like Mass Effect?
