If we don't have them already, then homeworlds like in the original game where you can recruit new crewmembers would be great, because four crew and a captain doesn't cut it. Also, how do you re-assign crewmembers, say, from medical to security, if you can? I don't particularly want two medics and one security.

Hiring should make it into alpha5 in some form, at minimum to at least allow you to add crew in some manner. If it doesn't know that we definitely plan you able to hire crew from both home world like "safe" places, as well as find mercenaries and other types of characters to join. We'd love to expand this to work with loyalty and other systems so that someone may be more susceptible to becoming a traitor or charging up the other crew toward a mutiny, etc.
