Distributor

First of all, congratulations on getting the Alpha 1 out, love the idea of SCG and where it could go. Hence a KS backer.

However, I am just curious why SendOwl was chosen instead of Humble. I've backed a lot of indie projects, but this is the only one I've heard of not using Humble for their distribution. Actually it's the first time I've heard of SendOwl. Plus (going forward) Humble provides a way to supply steam keys to people through the store to those who've already purchased.

I'm assuming if/when available on steam we'd all get keys for that anyway.

Anyway, looking forward to testing this out on my systems (Windows 8.1 x64 / Gentoo{kernel 3.14/awesome wm} x64 and x86), however I don't think it'll run on my Gentoo armv6 :ugeek:

I believe they only wanted core fans to experience the Alpha 1 rather then putting it in a shop front. People tend to judge a game off of their first impression and alphas do a poor job of that IMO. This way they can make non core fans happy when they first play SCG!

RimWorld uses SendOwl, just for the record.
