Neither of us have played the game so you can't say this matter of factly... I believe the devs know what they are doing and if the game doesn't have one it won't need it =p

Edit: I'd also watch the gameplay video again to get a feel for the game ;)

I know it is more casual oriented, but should atleast have a pause screen of sorts (Surely it will have that) ;)

I guess not! Official answer is its not in game and they feel the pace works well without it. Only time will tell mate!

Will it be possible to board and capture enemy ships, or is the playing field limited to your own ship?

From what we've seen, its just combat on your ship. That doesn't mean they won't add it later but I am pretty sure it won't be in release =\

I guess it would be hard to control both your boarding team and the crew on your ship without implementing a pause.

How about the specialized away missions? No space adventure feels complete without investigating a derelict spaceship with a suspiciously missing crew.

I am pretty sure combat is set to ship to ship and enemies on your ship.

Humans haven't invented/stolen teleportation tech yet so they keep getting attack but can't send their own crews.

I think there are missions where you find a ship a choose to board it, bit its text based. The resolution is you are transporting some refugees or hostiles teleport onto your ship.

Zavier, do you know if game center is supported for challenges or achievements? Or maybe something like what FTL has in place to unlock other vessels?
