Once again, I disagree (see discussion on 'Ranks' viewtopic.php?f=10&t=449. 'Fleet Admiral' is a specific rank. 'Admiral of...' could indicate that he is one of many/several/a few/whatever. The game specifically calls him one, the other is speculative. We should always go with sourced, concrete info (when available) as opposed to speculation.Zavier wrote:For the Gorrn being the Fleet Admiral... That would be an acceptable title. Things can be inferred from the text.
Saying he was "Admiral of the Midorian Central Fleet" and calling him a Fleet Admiral is okay. A=B B=C A=C its alright

But those are Star Command rankings
Seems like semantics to me either way and the first one is shorter

Re: Star Command Wiki
Admiral Gorrn isn't in Star Command. He's in the Midorian Central Fleet.Zavier wrote:But those are Star Command rankings
Semantics, maybe... But like I said: one is 'set in stone' the other is off some fan's cuff. Let's go with the stuff the devs created when we can.
Re: Star Command Wiki
Nope, never mind I reread what you wrote and you're right... I wasn't fully awake and thinking clearly. Ones a rank (unverified) and the other is a position of power (like you said probably over many ships)Harlock wrote:Admiral Gorrn isn't in Star Command. Sorry about the mix up with Gorrn's title, that was me. I wasn't sure if "Fleet Admiral" was correct, but I wrote that in as something simple.

No harm, no foul. I just want to make sure the wiki is as accurate (and therefore useful) as we can make it.Cafaling wrote:...that was me.

OK, I'll start fixing up the areas in need of more accurate info.Harlock wrote:No harm, no foul. I just want to make sure the wiki is as accurate (and therefore useful) as we can make it.

Re: Star Command Wiki
Next issue, Zavier: now that the page looks good, the light grey horizontal lines under section titles are hard to make out. I don't see any way to change the color, is that something you can do?

@XidanePayne
So I'm looking at these images you posted and they all have this copyright notice at the bottom that says "Copyright © 2013, Xidane Payne" like so:

But all they are is graphics (by WarBalloon) pulled from the game and text (by WarBalloon) pulled from the WarBalloon blog posts of the race data cards…
How is it exactly that you're laying a copyright claim on this stuff? Because you re-sized and re-positioned and added some clip art of feathers and tape? Does this mean I can cut out some pics from an Iron Man comic book and tape 'em to a page and then sue Marvel for copyright infringement?
Your own drawings are one thing, but these are pixel art pulled straight from the game… Should say "Copyright © 2013 WarBalloon" since it's like, you know, their work. Bogus!
